Does Radio controlled clock /atomic clock work in India?
I bought one of those atomic clocks when I was training to deploy with my unit in Fort Hood. When I got to Iraq, it didn’t work. I think its because there isn’t a relay station transmitting the signal there. So odds are, it won’t work in India unless they have a station that is transmitting in your area. However, the clock will keep time, it just won’t set itself.

I have one of the clocks you are speaking of. I don’t think mine would work other than as a regular battery operated wall clock. My clock has four buttons on the back to select one of the time zones of the 48 States. It has no provision to work in Alaska or Hawaii. In addition the National Bureau of Standards broadcasts a time signal from Ft. Collins, Colorado and from a point I am not familiar with in Hawaii. I suppose it is possible to receive the signal in India but I doubt it would be reliable. This clock has proved to be so reliable that it has changed my opinion of these "atomic" clocks. Read on and that will make sense.
On the other hand I had one of these clocks that required I set it a few minutes slower than the actual time and it would adjust the time on the hour. That unit never worked worth a damn. It acted as if it could only acquire signal every three or four hours. The instructions warned of the problem and it suggested several ways to solve the problem. I tried all five or six methods including putting the clock in places I didn’t want it. I ended up trashing it.
I live near Sacramento, California just as a reference for you to compare distances
